Darlene helped us find our home in Arlington and we know she spent countless hours looking for a home that reflected our hopes for schools and neighbors. Not only did she find a great home, she and her family became good friends. We miss her beautiful smile, elegant manners and gentle spirit. Our prayers are with you all. David and Linda
- David Farris, Arlington, TX
Dear Don....Mere words cannot adequately express our feelings regarding Darlene's life. We will miss her lovely smiling face, her generosity, and her good ol'Texas charm. We shared good times together over the years, mud bowl games and champagne on your newly painted ceiling in Rowayton; the dog fight in Chadds Ford; skiing in Vermont; and boating on Long Island Sound. Just sharing a meal or a conversation was always special, and whenever we came to visit, Darlene made us feel like we were part of the family. We were all blessed to have her with us, and wherever she is now, she is waiting for us with open arms. May the peace of the Lord be with you and your children. Love.........Dave and Sue

Don, Brian, Jim and Shannon, my thoughts and heart are with you. Darlene was like a second mother to me growing up. The irreplaceable Siesta Key Summers..tie dye shirts, crab hunting, oysters at Captain Curts and long talks on the beach. Providing me a second home at college... carving Pumpkins, Thanksgiving dinner, driving to Florida together. Her kindness, generosity and warm hearted spirit were inspirational. Darlene will be forever with us. Love, Valerie, Jim, Belle and James
